Common Mistakes: 1) Learners often place it awkwardly at the very start of the sentence as a translation of English 'Surely, ...'; in natural Hindi it usually sits right before the verb, e.g. मैं ज़रूर आऊँगा (main zaroor aaoongaa, 'I will definitely come') rather than at the front. 2) It is sometimes confused with ज़रूरी (zaroorii, 'necessary'), which is an adjective, not an adverb -- ज़रूर never means 'necessary' by itself.
