Grammar to Vocabulary in Context

3,702 words

This word list is built for learners who have already worked through the core grammar of Hindi -- verb agreement, tenses, the major sentence patterns, compound and vector verbs, etc. -- but who don't yet feel they have an adequate vocabulary to participate in conversations. If grammar rules still take conscious effort to apply, and you're ready to focus less on structure and more on words, this order is for you.

The ordering of words focuses first on "structural" words like conjunctions, patterns, postpositions etc. but with verbs (especially auxiliary and vector verbs) shown early interleaved throughout the study order. A rich set of nouns, adjectives, etc. rounds it out.
